ALL EARS opens it's 2012 programme at the Old Queen's Head, Islington on 7 February. The evening's theme is London: Why we love it... and why we hate it (sometimes). Three speakers will share their London stories to entertain and inspire you. We hope to see you there!

Vijay Jagun

Vijay will share his story of what it is like to be homeless on London's streets and his ongoing battle with the Home Office to gain residency in the country he has lived in for the past 10 years. His experiences have led him to speak at the University of Connecticut on Migrants and their vulnerability. He also attended the All Party Parliamentary Group where he shared his view on migrants in the health sector. More

Escape the City

Escape the City was set up by Rob Symington and Dom Jackman to help talented individuals escape from unfulfilling jobs in the City. In these socially, economically and environmentally turbulent times, people's attitudes to work are drastically changing. Escape the City has harnessed that shift in social trend and set up with this wonderful organisation.Their motto is 'do something different' and that is just what they are doing. More

Bill Callaghan

Bill Callaghan is proud to be a Yeoman Warder – a Beefeater to most of us – at the Tower of London. He guards the Crown Jewels for Her Majesty and has clocked up over 2million hits on YouTube for his entertaining and knowledgeable tours around London’s famous landmark. Following many years serving in the army, Bill was invited to join the warders and live at the Tower. At ALL EARS, Bill will debunk many of the Tower myths and share his favourite historical London moments. More

Madam Becky

Madam Becky will be making an appearance to talk briefly about the launch of her autobiography: Madam - memoirs of a very British brothel.

Becky was a speaker for us last February and shared her very poignant yet hilarious story of running brothels in the home counties for twenty years. Since joining us she has barely stopped writing and her book will be out on 10th February. We can't wait to read it! More
